Every paycheque, already divided.

Built in Canada for Canadian money. Flowd splits your take home pay across needs, savings and everyday spending, then tells you why each share is the size it is, down to whether a dollar belongs in your TFSA or your RRSP first.

Most budgeting apps were built for American money.

This one was not, and the difference shows up in the places that actually cost you money.

Spending sorts itself

Connect once. Every transaction arrives categorized, so the ledger stays current without you touching it.

TFSA, RRSP, FHSA, RESP

Registered accounts are treated as their own thing, with the contribution room and tax treatment that go with them.

Net worth in one place

Cash and cards come from your bank connection. Anything Flowd cannot see, like a home, you enter once. The total stays reconciled on a single line.

Budgets and goals that hold

Set a limit that fits your month, and watch a savings goal fill as your connected accounts update.

Why each share is the size it is.

Answer a few questions when you join. Your income, your rent or mortgage, whether you carry high interest debt, whether you have a cushion yet, and what you are actually saving for.

Flowd turns that into a split of every dollar you bring home, and says why each share is the size it is. It knows whether your money belongs in a TFSA or an RRSP first at your income, and it puts an employer match ahead of everything, because that is free money. When your debts clear or your cushion fills, the split moves with you.

  • Your split$4,200 take home
  • Needs 50%$2,100
  • Emergency fund 20%$840
  • Investing 10%$420
  • Everyday spending 20%$840

Every dollar accounted for$4,200

You said you do not have an emergency fund yet, so building one to three months of expenses outranks investing until it is there. Investing goes to your TFSA first at this income.

Half price, for the first hundred.

Founding members get in before the public and pay half for the first year. They also get asked the one money problem they most want solved, and those answers shape what Flowd builds. One hundred spots. When they are gone, so is the half price.

Joining asks for nothing but an email address, and no card. You can unsubscribe from any message we send. Spots are offered in the order people join, you get seven days to claim yours, and the half price year runs from your first payment, not from launch day. Prices are in Canadian dollars plus tax. What Flowd can and cannot do.

Flowd will ask to connect your bank when it opens, not today. Here is the plain version.

  • It can read. It cannot move money.

Flowd sees balances and transactions. It cannot send a payment or transfer a dollar.

  • Your bank password stays with your bank.

The connection is handled by a dedicated bank connection provider. Flowd never sees or stores your banking login.

  • Your card stays with Stripe.

Payments run through Stripe. Card numbers never reach a Flowd server.

  • You can disconnect at any time.

Cutting a bank connection is always free and never depends on having a subscription.

Three steps, in order.

  1. You join the waitlist

An email address is all it takes, and nothing to pay. Then we ask you the one money problem you most want solved. You can leave the list from any email we send.

  2. You are offered half price

When reservations open, the waitlist hears before anyone else, and a founding spot locks in your price for the first year.

  3. We open the doors to you first

Founding members get access before the public, and a direct line whenever something is not working.

FAQ

Questions worth asking.

Is Flowd running yet?

Not yet. Flowd is being built now, and founding members are let in first, which is what this page is for. Joining puts you in line for a founding spot and the half price year that comes with it.

What am I paying today?

Nothing. Joining the waitlist is free and takes an email address, no card. When founding spots open you will be offered one at $7.49 a month for the first year, half the regular $14.99, and you are free to pass.

How often will you email me?

Rarely. You will hear when there is something worth telling you, starting with one question about what you most want fixed. You can leave the list from any message.

How does connecting my bank work?

Through a dedicated bank connection provider, the same kind of connection layer Canadian financial apps use. Access is read only, so Flowd can see balances and transactions but cannot move money. Your banking password is entered with the provider and never reaches Flowd.

Does it work with my bank?

Flowd is built for Canadian institutions, including the major banks and credit unions. If yours is not supported when we open, you are under no obligation to continue.

Is the plan financial advice?

No. Flowd suggests how you might divide your own take home pay across needs, debt, savings and everyday spending, using what you told us about your situation. It will say whether a TFSA or an RRSP generally suits your income bracket better, but it does not recommend specific investments, funds or securities, and it is not a substitute for a licensed advisor or accountant. What you do with the split is your call.

Do I have to be in Canada?

Yes. Flowd is built around Canadian accounts and the TFSA, RRSP, FHSA and RESP rules that come with them. That focus is the point.

It takes an email address.

One hundred founding spots, half price for the first year, and a question about what you most want fixed.
