Before anything else

What Flowd can and cannot do.

You are being asked to connect a bank account, so here is the plain version.

  • It can read. It cannot move money.

Flowd sees balances and transactions. It cannot send a payment or transfer a dollar.

  • Your bank password stays with your bank.

The connection is handled by a dedicated bank connection provider. Flowd never sees or stores your banking login.

  • Your card stays with Stripe.

Payments run through Stripe. Card numbers never reach a Flowd server.

  • You can disconnect at any time.

Cutting a bank connection is always free and never depends on having a subscription.

Built for the accounts Canadians actually have.

The apps that do this well were built for American money. This one was not.

Spending sorts itself

Connect once. Every transaction arrives categorized, so the ledger stays current without you touching it.

TFSA, RRSP, FHSA, RESP

Registered accounts are treated as their own thing, with the contribution room and tax treatment that go with them.

Net worth in one place

Cash, investments and what you owe, reconciled on a single line so you can see the whole picture at once.

Budgets and goals that hold

Set a limit that fits your month, watch a savings goal fill, and see the number move as it happens.

Three steps, then it runs itself.

  1. Connect your accounts

A dedicated provider handles the connection and keeps your banking password. Flowd only ever gets read access.

  2. It categorizes itself

Transactions arrive sorted. Correct one and Flowd remembers the rule for every month after.

  3. Your pay gets divided

Answer a few questions and Flowd splits every dollar you bring home, then says why each share is the size it is.

One plan. Everything in it.

No tiers to compare and nothing held back for a higher price. Bank sync, registered accounts, net worth, budgets, goals and the pay split are all in the one plan.
